Christianity Explored at Café Fifty Five

A mis of people around a table with coffee cups and reading.

This April come and explore the life of the person at the heart of the Christian faith - Jesus Christ. Find out who Jesus is, why he came, and what it means to follow him.

Starting on Tuesday 9th April 2024, 7:30-9pm in Café Fifty Five, Christianity Explored offers the opportunity across seven sessions to explore the story of Jesus for yourself.

Everyone is welcome. You can come if you’ve got lots of questions, you want to simply listen in, or you feel like there is more to life. You don’t need to know anything about the Bible, and you won’t be asked to read aloud, pray, or sing.

You can hear how Christianity Explored played a part in Sean's story.

For those who are part of St Luke's Church there are FIVE ways you can be involved with Christianity Explored at Café Fifty Five.

  1. Come along. Anyone is welcome whether you're wanting to find out things for the first time or be reminded of the basics. Sign up at www.thurnbychurch.com/ce.

  2. Ask someone to come with you. You're not inviting someone into the church building or someone's house but Café Fifty Five. Some might say "no thanks", others will come with you, all we have to do is ask.

  3. Join the team. Would you like to be part of the team that hosts and leads Christianity Explored? Even if you just have a slight sense of wanting to be involved have a chat with Tom (tom@thurnbychurch.com | 07817435483).

  4. Pray. Pray. Pray. All that happens during Christianity Explored is God's work. You could be part of a small group of people who commits to pray every Tuesday evening Christianity Explored runs.

  5. Give. You can make a donation towards everyone coming to Christianity Explored receiving a copy of Mark's gospel and receiving great hospitality. You can give at www.thurnbychurch.com/give (you can make any gifts with CE).
