Children & Families

IMG_1731.JPG

At St Luke's we want to give children and families the chance to hear about Jesus and come to know him and live with him at the centre of their lives.

All our groups are run by a great team of volunteers who are all safely recruited, DBS checked and have taken the relevant safeguarding training.

Every Tuesday for parents, babies and toddlers

Raindrops is our community parent, baby and toddler group that meets every Tuesday 9:15-11:15am during term time in the Thurnby Scout Hut. Parents, grandparents, childminders, and carers with children aged 0-4 are welcome to come along. Each week there is a time for play, a craft activity, story time, songs and games, and refreshments.

There is a small charge of £2 for one adult with a child and 50p for each additional child.

St Luke’s Primary School

We have close links with St Luke's Primary School and lead a weekly whole school assembly. Once a week we run an after-school club (JAM club) for all ages. Each term the school children take part in Godly Play and we are able to be involved in lots of areas of the school's life.

Fernvale Primary School

There is a whole school assembly once a month led by a member of the team from St Luke's Church.
