Our Seniors Ministry is also known as C3A - 'Church of the Third Age'. We have several groups and activities for seniors at St Luke's and beyond. Our hope is for those involved:
to feel welcomed and valued
to come to faith and grow in faith
to share their faith with others
to engage in meaningful service
Every Friday 11am - 1pm via Zoom
Vitality is a group of those who are mature in years but young at heart. Our vision is to be a growing community of Christians who know fulness of life in Jesus and are seeking to share this with others. Vitality is a natural follow on for many who are part of Senior Alpha.
Vitality is currently meeting on Zoom, every Friday from 11am till 1pm and new faces are always welcome. Please do not let technology issues stop you from coming along.
For further details please contact Helen Bence (07591182990)
Senior Alpha is a course that unpacks who Jesus is, what different he makes to life, and explores some of the big questions of life. We usually meet in a home with coffee and cake to learn more about Jesus, ask questions and come to/grow in faith.
If you would like to find out when the next Senior Alpha course will be running get in touch. If you struggle with mobility/transport or with technology, these are all things we can help with so please do not let this hold you back.
Last Friday of the month 2pm till 4pm, All abilities welcome

Holiday at Home
Holiday at Home is a chance to experience holiday fun whilst staying at home overnight. It is a great week of fun, friendship, and faith!
In previous years we have had days out, a canal boat trip, a ‘reflective day' at Launde Abbey, craft, games, high teas and pub lunches.
Parish Tea meets on the first Sunday of each month at Hill Court, Thurnby betwen 3-5pm.
This is a social event that is enjoyed by our guests who love to chat amongst themselves and with the volunteers, as well as eating the homemade cakes!
C3A Team (Seniors)
Our Seniors Ministry is led by Debbie and Kate along with a great team of volunteers. All staff and volunteers have been safer recruited and have completed the relevant training and protection check (DBS).
