Mission Partners at St Luke's

On Sunday we saw from Colossians 4:7-18 that following Jesus is never lived out on our own. We need each other and we are in partnership with brothers and sisters nearby and far away and we heard from different friends, churches, and mission partners - catch up on their messages below.

We currently support prayerfully and financially five different mission partners at St Luke's Church.

The Bridge Homelessness to Hope in Leicester

Providing support and advocacy to anyone over the age of 18 who is experiencing homelessness in Leicester. This includes those who are rough sleeping, sofa surfing, and people who are in temporary or unsuitable accommodation.

Scripture Union (SU)

A Christian charity, inviting children and young people to explore the difference Jesus can make to the challenges and adventures of life.

Church Pastoral Aid Society (CPAS)

CPAS is the patron of St Luke’s Church which means they are involved in selecting and appointing vicars to lead our life. CPAS is an Anglican evangelical mission agency, which believes that the message of the gospel is relevant to all people, and that effective local church ministry is the key to seeing men, women, young people and children come to faith in Christ.

Hope of Glory Foundation in Pune, India

Hope of Glory Foundation is a ministry in Pune, India that exists to rescue at-risk children with the hopes of them being restored and rehabilitated into the mainstream of Indian society. To Hope of Glory, the word “rescue” does not simply mean to meet the children’s immediate physical needs, protect them from harm and give them a good education but to introduce them to Christ and help foster a relationship with Him.
