With the school summer holidays about to start there are few things that will be a little bit different to Sundays during July.
We will continue to have Sunday services at 8:45am and 10:45am but on Sunday 10th, 17th, and 24th July there will be no 6:30pm service.
The summer months offer an opportunity for many of us to embrace a time where there is more of a sense of rest and to give many who serve in different ways on Sundays a chance to re-energize.
During the 10:45am services in July we will giving our Bubbles, Explorers, and Pathfinders leaders a break.
We want every age to feel welcome and part of our 10:45am service and while they won’t be quite the same as what we would normally do on a first Sunday of the month there will space for tiny ones to wriggle and shout and activities and things for primary school children to engage with.
Even if the coming week don’t look like or feel like much of a rest for you the prayer for us all is Psalm 62:1-2:
“Truly my soul finds rest in God; my salvation comes from him. Truly he is my rock and my salvation; he is my fortress, I shall never be shaken.”
