Youth, children, and Families Minister
Full Time

We have an exciting opportunity for someone to join our ministry staff team full-time as our Youth, Children, and Families Minister.

St Luke’s is a community of followers of Jesus of all ages. At the heart of all we do is the Bible and its message of forgiveness and hope that comes through Jesus and we are based on the eastern edge of Leicester and are one of the Diocese of Leicester's Resourcing Churches.

We are looking for someone with a living and growing faith in Jesus who will be based in or close by to Thurnby. Alongside parents and the church community you will help our youth, children, and families know and love Jesus and feel valuable in the life of the church and you will be able to inspire them to be sent out equipped to live for Jesus.

You will be part of a church community who will pray for you, partner with you, encourage you, and help you love Jesus more and be part of a dedicated, supportive, and enthusiastic staff team including a newly appointed Schools and Community Outreach Worker. We will be committed to your discipleship and wellbeing, ensuring you have the resources you need with the potential to undertake further training and qualifications.

The role is full time (37.5 hours pr week) with a salary between £21,573-£28,280 depending on qualifications and experience plus pension contribution and ministry related expenses and travel paid for.

For an informal conversation about the role, please get in touch with Tom Devas (Associate Rector) on 07817435483 or tom@thurnbychurch.com.

Application deadline: end of Saturday 2nd July 2022 with interviews taking place later in July.
